Spring Micros

Registration is open

Micros is recreational soccer for 5-year-olds through 8th grade, it is held in Hamilton, Montana, and serves families from all over the Bitterroot. Our goals are to empower coaches and kids to experience great soccer no matter their skill level and build positive relationships within the community. Practices are held in Hamilton, and games are played at Daly Elementary.

Season runs from April 8-May 20

Practice:

Practice starts April 8th, 2025.

Most teams will practice on Tuesdays in Hamilton, depending on coaches' availability. All 3rd-8th grade teams should have a second practice throughout the week that is planned by the coach.

Games:

Most games will be held on Saturday mornings, some will be held on a weeknight to work around holiday weekends. Game times will be scheduled after we see registration numbers for each age group. Games are generally held between 9:00 am-12:30 pm Saturday mornings. Weeknight games will begin after 5:00 pm.

Game Days:

Saturday Game Days: April 12, April 26, May 3rd, May 10th, May 17th

Thursday Game: April 17th

Last Game/Tuesday: May 20th

Coaches:

All volunteer coaches receive 50% off of their registration fee and receive a detailed curriculum with instructions for each week. We also assist our volunteer coaches with a trained coach throughout the season as needed. Coaches will meet before the season to go over expectations and season plans. Teams will be sorted by March 24th. Coaches will contact teams around April 1st.

Cost: $85 (This includes two jerseys)

Coaches

The success of the Micro Strikers FC program depends on volunteer coaches for the teams. No experience is required; however we do encourage coaches to attend our age appropriate clinic held at the beginning of the season.

The brave souls who step up will receive a 50% discount on their Micro player's fee. *One discount per family.

Uniforms/Kit

Your player will receive a set of two jerseys, which must be worn on game days.

Families are responsible for purchasing cleats, shinguards, soccer socks, and shorts. Black socks and shorts are recommended, but there is no firm rule on color.
