Mini-Micros is designed to let your 3-4 year old shine!
Our objective is for your child to enjoy the game. Mini-Micros provides age-appropriate skill building, focusing on emotional, mental and physical growth for young soccer players. There are no team assignments with the Mini-Micros program. Players will be assigned a game time each week.

The Mini-Micros is a child physical development program that uses a variety of fun soccer based games to delight and engage kids in physical activity. The format for the mini-micros is professionally designed to develop motor skills & develop fundamental soccer skills.

PROGRAM DETAILS

What to expect

Your child’s time will last for approximately 50 minutes each session. The coaches will lead players through a warm-up, ball skills, followed by games that will help your child with basic soccer skills while emphasizing fun and child-friendly competition. Game days will end with some scrimmaging and cool-down stretching.

Group Size

We make every attempt to keep sessions at a maximum of 10 players per coach. It becomes a game of "herding cats" if group sizes are any larger.

Time slots are first come, first served.

Coaches

Most sessions will be lead by the man, Coach Joe. If there is enough interest at a specific time slot, we will add an assistant coach and split the group in two.

Gear

Your player will receive a jersey.

We highly encourage your player to wear cleats, shinguards and soccer socks so they become used to wearing proper soccer gear. If you need help rounding up cleats, please reach out to micro@strikersfcmt.org
